STREAMWOOD, Ill., - Justin Paul Miller, 20, of Streamwood, Ill., died April 3, 2013, after fighting a long and courageous five-year battle with cancer.

In the years following his graduation, Justin remained an active part of the school band, volunteering his time to assist with concerts, theatre productions, and drum line camp. At his church, he was an integral part of the Ember Days praise band, Voices of Light ensemble, and the Young Adult Praise Band. He was passionately pursuing an anthropology degree from Elgin Community College.
Justin leaves behind his parents, Stephan and Peggy; sister, Lindsey; and twin brother, Jeremy. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Richard and Betty Miller, and maternal grandparents, Joe and Sharon Pollard. He will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, for whom sitting around a bonfire will never be the same.
