The Classic and Chrome Car Show is attended by 10,000-plus people.

To cap off the weekend, Cootware received an award for his racecar. His entry, a 2007 Monte Carlo Allison Legacy, was in the Exotic and Race Car Class, which was filled with Ferraris, Mustangs, and Porches to name a few.

"I'm very proud of my team for the hard work they put forth in the off season," Cootware said. "The trophy is truly theirs."

Cootware begins his racing season on Saturday, May 4, at Rockford Speedway. He will also take part in the Mid-West Alison Legacy Racing Series which will be racing in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan.
