I can't speak for all the Bible-thumping, gun-toting, freedom lovers out there, but I have some things to say about some extremely distasteful actions of teacher in Albany, N.Y.
Here is the link for the article that I was looking at: www.abc15.com/dpp/news/national/new-york-holocaust-assignment-district-apologizes-over-insensitive-writing-assignment.
Why do I get this strange feeling that we will never hear about this one ever again? Why do we continue to send our children to the tax-payer funded scam operations that have the audacity to call themselves schools?
Not only do your kids have to be completely exposed to violent attackers, they have to justify the Holocaust in the name of improving the persuasive writing skill of students.
Just in case you do not know it, Holocaust Remembrance Week began on April 7, 2013 and continued until April 14, 2013.
This clown gave his students an assignment that would require them to declare their loyalty to the Third Reich. "You do not have a choice in your position." The assignment was due on April 10, 2013. It is interesting that the due date was set for the middle of Holocaust Remembrance Week. I do not know about you, but I do not believe in coincidences.
For the third of students that refused to complete the assignment, I salute each and every one of them. One out of three students in this environment still has at least some capacity for independent thought.
Honestly, if an teacher wanted me to do this assignment with the same parameters, I would have stood up and asked the instructor, "Okay Fuhrer, if I refuse, are you going to kill me?" I would love to hear the teacher's answer to that question.
The schools response's was the same old, generic line of trash. "We do not believe the teacher acted with malice or "intent to cause any insensitivities to our families of Jewish faith." Are they also going to tell us that this clown did not have a father? Will they try tell us that this clown was a good person?
The union also stated that, "The assignment should have been worded differently." This is the typical progressive response. "Just give it a different name, and the problem goes away." Personally, I do not care what they called it because it is still a sham. I would call it a dog and pony show, but that would be cruel and unethical treatment of dogs and horses.
As a man who loves to write, this infuriates me. This is a whole new level of distastefulness. As a man who loves history, not to be confused with propaganda and lies, that part also angers me. I will tell you why this angers me.
What would happen if this came from a private school, regardless of religious affiliation or lack thereof? You would probably see riots in the streets. A lot of angry people would be demanding someone's head to be handed over on a silver platter.
Go ahead. Just hand your money and your children over to the government. After all, we, the people, are too stupid to educate our own children. Go ahead, and keep voting for those six and seven figure dollar amount referendums. Go ahead, and keep voting to increase your own taxes. When are we, the people, going to wake up? How much more are we, the people, going to put up with?
