IRON MOUNTAIN - An Iron Mountain woman sustained non-life threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash on M-95 Monday afternoon.
Michigan State Police from the Iron Mountain Post said troopers responded to the scene of a personal injury traffic crash at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Monday. The crash occurred on M-95 near Byers Road in Sagola Township.
A pickup truck driven by Ida Nord, 77, of Iron Mountain was southbound on M-95. She attempted to overtake a vehicle and then observed that a vehicle was attempting to overtake her vehicle, police said.

Nord over-corrected and lost control of the vehicle, crossing the centerline of M-95. Her vehicle entered the ditch and overturned, pinning Nord in the truck.
She was extracted from the vehicle by the Dickinson County Extraction Unit, police said.
Nord was transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Nord was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
Troopers were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department, Star Ambulance, Beacon Ambulance and the Sagola Township Fire Department.
