FELCH - North Dickinson students and staff members are participating in the Bellin Run High School Challenge.
Along with 29 students and staff members, there are also 16 from the community signed up to be a part of the Nordics' team.
"The goal of the high school challenge is to motivate high school students and staff to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle," said North Dickinson guidance counselor-teacher Angela Jungwirth, citing participation in Saturday's 10K Bellin Run in Green Bay. "The target group is not only school's athletes, but especially those who train to walk or run the event as a means of health and fitness.
"Our school is competing against other schools to see who can get the highest percentage of participation in the Bellin Run."
North Dickinson, currently leading the challenge, shows a participation mark of 22 percent.
Champion Inc., MVA Enterprises, Hord Racing, Nordic Grocery and OSMS are sponsoring North Dickinson .
"The North Dickinson PTO made it possible for the group to order team T-shirts which will be entered into the T-shirt design contest," Jungwirth said.
The 37th 10K Bellin Run is held in Green Bay.
