CHANNING - Channing scored twice in the bottom of the ninth to edge Peshtigo 9-8 in Wishigan baseball Sunday afternoon at Newberg Field.

Barry Holsworth drove in Luke Holsworth with a single to tie the game 8-8. After Holsworth advanced to third on a passed ball, Bryce Jauquet ripped a grounder that was too hard to handle for Peshtigo's shortstop, allowing Holsworth to score the winning run.

Peshtigo led through five innings before Channing rallied to take a 7-5 lead. The Predators tied it 7-7 in the seventh and went ahead with a run in the top of the ninth.

Mike Miller had three singles and a double. J.J. Fende had two singles and a double, and Garth Budek had two singles.

Miller started the game on the mound, Kyle Sexton came in relief, and Wade Holsworth came on in the sixth to become the winning pitcher.
