CRYSTAL FALLS - A Georgia man accused of leading authorities on a high-speed chase through two counties appeared in Iron County Trial Court Monday for a preliminary examination.
Karl Friedrich-Johannes Dresch, 32, was bound over to the circuit court level and entered not guilty pleas to his charges of fleeing and eluding-fourth degree, operating while intoxicated, and open intoxicants in a vehicle.
A pre-trial in the matter is scheduled for Aug. 5.
Dresch is accused of driving at speeds of up to 146 miles per hour through Florence and Iron counties on the evening of June 7.
No one was injured in the incident.
