Armstrong Creek home burns

ARMSTRONG CREEK, Wis. - An Armstrong Creek home is a total loss following a structure fire this morning.

The fire at 9190 State Highway 101 started at about 4:30 a.m.

Goodman-Armstrong Creek Fire Chief Mike Stec said that firefighters found the structure fully engulfed upon arrival.

The home's resident was out of town at the time of the fire, and no one was injured, Stec added.

Firefighters are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Assisting at the scene were the Fence Fire Department, Goodman Rescue Squad, Wisconsin Public Service, and the Forest County Sheriff's Department.
