IRON MOUNTAIN - Twin City Girls Soccer Fusion traveled to Blaine, Minn., to attend the largest youth soccer tournament in the western hemisphere.

The event is played on the largest soccer complex in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Team members and parents begin fund-raising in early winter to make this trip a reality each year.

In the first game, the girls drew eventual tourney champion Eden Prairie Extreme, which swept the field. After the early setback, Twin City went on to play teams from Iowa and Grand Forks, South Dakota.
