MUSKEGON - Norway broke out of a hitting slump in wrapping up the Little League minor baseball state tournament Monday.

Logan Parolini homered deep over the left field fence and singled twice as Norway defeated Reed City 9-2 to conclude pool play.

Parolini pitched the first two innings and Gannon Bray worked the last four.

Norway's Ian Gorzinski tripled and Evan Anderson added two singles. Jacob Moln, Caleb Burklund, Wyatt Riley, Drew Anderson and Bray also registered hits.

Norway, with a 1-2 pool play record, did not advance to the next round.
