Hulce honored

Norway frosh named MPC’s premier player

NEGAUNEE - Mid-Peninsula Conference softball players who made all-league for the spring season were announced Tuesday.

Bobbi Hulce, a freshman catcher from Norway High School, gained the M-PC Player of the Year nod by a vote of conference coaches.

Knights teammates Bailey Grayvold and Rachel Conery made the first team. Norway's Ashley Zanon was a second-team choice.

FIRST TEAM

Negaunee: senior Ashley Anderson, junior Rosalie Anderson and sophomore Adena Anderson.

Westwood: sophomore Katie Rankinen.

Manistique: freshman Allie Nagy.

Norway: senior Bailey Grayvold and junior Rachel Connery.

Ishpeming: senior Caitlin Corvela and freshman Sinead Corvela.

SECOND TEAM

Negaunee: Taylor Ring.

Westwood: sophomore Shana Caliguri and freshman Hannah Salmi.

Manistique: freshmen Sydney Chartier, Ashley Menominee and Brianne Richey.

Norway: sophomore Ashley Zannon.
