NORWAY - Shirley Mae Vivio, 82, of Norway, ended her suffering peacefully in her home and went to heaven with the angels on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013.
Shirley was born Oct. 24, 1930, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Harry and Alice Jacobson. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School.
Shirley married Walter "Whiskers" Vivio Jr. on June 19, 1948. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1984.
Shirley enjoyed working outside the home at the Sewing Factory, A&P Store and Norway High School. She also worked part-time on her father-in-law's sheet music and the family taxes.
