IRON MOUNTAIN - An arrest has been made in connection with an armed robbery that took place during the early morning hours of Aug. 6 on West Brown Street in Iron Mountain.
The Iron Mountain Police Department and Dickinson County Prosecutor Lisa Richards announced Monday that Jacelin Orian Sims, 17, of Iron Mountain has been charged with armed robbery, a felony punishable by up to life in prison; conspiracy to commit armed robbery, also a felony life offense; and accessory after the fact, a five-year felony.
Sims is also facing charges of larceny in a building, breaking and entering a vehicle with damage to the vehicle, and possession of marijuana in unrelated cases.
A preliminary examination in Dickinson County District Court has been scheduled for Aug. 21 at 10 a.m.
Sims is being represented by attorney Michael Scholke of Iron Mountain.
Authorities believe that two additional suspects in the armed robbery case, a male and a female, are still at large.

The armed robbery occurred when the victim was home alone at a residence on the 200 block of West Brown Street. Three subjects dressed in black broke into his residence and robbed him at knife point.
The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
