GLADSTONE - A suspect wanted in an attempted murder investigation out of Kaukauna, Wis. has been arrested in Menominee County's Holmes Township.
Troopers from the Gladstone post of the Michigan State Police arrested the 37-year-old Kaukauna man after investigation revealed that he was hiding at a rustic campground near the Michigan-Wisconsin border.
The attempted murder incident had occurred on Sunday, and the man had been on the run ever since, said troopers.
Troopers said that the man was arrested without incident. He is currently being lodged at the Menominee County Jail while he awaits extradition to Wisconsin.
His name is not being released at this time, said troopers.
Assisting in the investigation were the Menominee County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin authorities.
