Andrews powers Flivvers

Scores four goals

HOUGHTON - Marcus Andrews scored four goals, including a natural hat trick in the first period, and Kingsford downed Walled Lake 5-2 to open the high school hockey season Saturday.

Andrews' scoring surge gave Kingsford a 3-0 lead after the first period. The Flivvers were in a shorthanded situation for the third goal.

In the second period, both teams scored twice. Andrews and Andrew Zander found the net for the Flivvers.

Brien Johnson record two assists and Alex Wiitanen had one for Coach Jim Peterson's Flivvers.

Wes Paupore was in goal for Kingsford, which hosts L'Anse on Monday, Dec. 2.
