KINGSFORD - Theodora A. Beauchamp, 98, of Kingsford, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born on Sept. 4, 1915, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late Angelo and Theresa (Rainaldi) Caruso. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1933.
On June 24, 1939, Theodora married Clarence Beauchamp at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1986.
Dora was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church, its Church Guild, and its St. Anne's Circle. She was also a member of the Holy Family Christian Mothers at Immaculate Conception Church, the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, the Daughters of Isabella, the Iron Mountain-Kingsford G.F.W.C., the Dickinson County Hospital League, Friends of the Library and the Paisano Club. Dora was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul, The VA Hospital and Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. Theodora was a Cub Scout and Brownie leader. She was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and square dancing. She worked as a sales clerk at many area stores. Theodora was proud of her many accomplishments.

She is survived by one sister, Lydia (Rex) Barrett of San Antonio, Texas; and one brother, John (Dolores) Caruso of Land O'Lakes, Wis.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Johnston and Josephine "Joan" Maly.
Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Kingsford Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow Monday at 11 a.m. at American Martyrs Catholic Church. Father Joseph Gouin will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
Dora's great-nieces and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
