MARINETTE, Wis. - The Northeast Tri-County Drug Enforcement Group has arrested a 29-year-old man following a search of a Pound residence Thursday.
Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve said the suspect was arrested and lodged in the Marinette County Jail on charges of manufacture of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeper of a drug house.
The search warrant that was executed in the village of Pound on Thursday resulted in the seizure of some 42 marijuana plants and several thousand dollars worth of growing equipment, Sauve said.
Names are being withheld at this time until formal charges are brought by the Marinette County District Attorney.
Agencies involved in the investigation include Marinette County Sheriff's Office, Marinette City Police Department, Menominee County Sheriff Department, village of Coleman Police Department and village of Crivitz Police Department.
