ROCK - North Dickinson never found an answer and fell to Mid Peninsula 46-26 in Skyline Conference girls basketball Friday night.

"We really struggled on offense all night long," said Nordics coach Mike Roell. "It seemed like the harder we tried the worse it got."

The Nordics (2-2, 2-6) played without starter Chelsey Stroud (illness) and were led by Gina Rotter's 10 points. Samantha Tolonen added seven points and seven rebounds.

Mid Peninsula, which led 24-13 at the break, got 17 points from Hunter Branstrom.

The Wolverines won the jayvee game 38-30.
