Minor moves with conference change

North Dickinson and Forest Park will not be making major schedule adjustments when the Skyline and Central U.P. basketball conferences merge for the 2014-15 season.

Athletic director Mike Roell said the Nordics will be dropping Stephenson from the girls schedule and one game with the Republic-Michigamme boys.

Republic will also leave Forest Park's boys basketball slate, according to Trojans athletic director and Skyline secretary Dobie Anderson. Baraga will exit the Forest Park girls hoops schedule.

Forest Park and North Dickinson along with North Central will be members of the yet to be named new conference's West Division. North Central has been a member of both Skyline and CUP leagues for several years ...
