MARQUETTE - Kingsford attended the Marquette Splash & Dash swim meet Saturday.
Nine other teams joined the Flivvers, with each swimmer limited to two events.
"This was a great meet for us to see the talent and depth that each team had to offer," Kingsford Coach Keith Freeman said. "Unfortunately, we have been caught in a rebuilding year and we were unable to bring home any medals."

Kingsford first-year swimmer Andrea Rake posted a personal best time in the 50 butterfly (38.67) at the Marquette Splash& Dash.
David Plumley led the Flivvers with a fourth in 50 breaststroke, improving his time by 1.29 seconds and finishing with a personal best 32.10.
"Many other personal bests were achieved," Freeman said. "As always with swimming, you are not only competing with the other swimmers, you are competing against the clock.
"We don't always look at a win being medals and points. When you can achieve a personal best, that is a true victory."
