A total of 2.3 inches of snow was recorded at the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Wastewater Treatment Plant in Breitung Township.
The weather conditions caused roads to be snow-covered and slippery. Law enforcement officials from Dickinson and Florence counties reported several incidents of vehicles in the ditch, but no major accidents.
According to the NWS, local residents can expect another one to two inches of snow between tonight and Thursday.
