IRON MOUNTAIN - More than 12 countries, including Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Kazakhstan, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United States are expected to enter participants in the 2014 Bellin Health Pine Mountain Continental Cup Ski Jumping Competition.
The 75th Anniversary of Ski Jumping at Pine Mountain to be held on Friday, Feb. 7, Saturday, Feb. 8 and Sunday, Feb. 9.
This is the only regularly-scheduled Continental Cup tournament in North America, and, without travelling to Sochi, an opportunity to witness world-class jumpers flying 470 feet, said Susie Fox of the Kiwanis Ski Club.

Weather and conditions permitting, there will be three days of official competition.
The schedule for ski jumps week includes:
- Thursday, Feb. 6: Meet The Skiers at Pine Mountain Resort from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., an informal gathering to meet the jumpers and coaches. There is no charge for this event, although reservations are requested. Call the Dickinson Area Partnership at 774-2002.
- Friday, Feb. 7: Training rounds at 10:30 a.m. and competition beginning at 1:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 8: Trial round at 11 a.m., opening ceremony at 12:15 p.m. and competition beginning at 1 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 9, Trial round at 11 a.m. and competition beginning at 1 p.m.

After pre-sales end Thursday, Feb. 6, ski jumping fans may purchase a button at the entrances to the event. Admission buttons good for all three days.
The button price through Feb. 6 are $20 for adults, $15 for students aged 11 to 17, and children 10 and younger are free.

Boss Snowplow of Iron Mountain will be sponsoring a "Safe Ride Home" from the ski jump complex to area homes from 3 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday only of jump weekend.
Shuttles provided by Elite Limousine will be located by the exposition building and running generally in the Dickinson County area.
