It has been interesting to follow the time, involvement, and outrage over the recent abandoned puppies. Without a doubt it was a cruel and detestable act. It also brings to mind our fascination with "choice."
If a woman decides to have her unborn baby torn limb from limb because of stress or inconvenience we say she has the "right to choose." The owner of these puppies obviously found them to be inconvenient and made a "choice." I have not seen any support for this "right to choose."
Everyone has been outraged. Are our own human babies actually of less value than these puppies? Think about it.
