FLORENCE, Wis. - Two businesses in Aurora, Wis. were burglarized during the night of March 26 and early morning of March 27.
Florence County Sheriff Jeff Rickaby said an unknown amount of cash was taken from inside gaming machines that were pried open at Bartoletti's Supper Club in Aurora, Wis.
A second Aurora business, Grailer's Welding, was also burglarized and cash was taken.
Both businesses were entered with minimal damage to the building, Rickaby said. Physical evidence has been collected and two suspects are being investigated.
The burglaries may be connected to similar incidents which occurred in Iron Mountain and Kingsford, Rickaby added.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Kingsford was broken into on March 26 and cash was taken, according to the Kingsford Public Safety Department.
The Florence County Sheriff's Office is working with other local agencies and the situation remains under investigation.
