HARRIS - Forest Park's Lexi Gussert was honored Saturday during the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame (UPSHF) banquet at the Island Resort & Casino.
The Michigan State-bound senior and "Miss Basketball" selection was selected to receive a UPSHF scholarship. However, NCAA rules do not allow players with full scholarships to accept UPSHF scholarships.
Gussert is the valedictorian at Forest Park where she holds a 3.976 GPA and scored a 23 on her ACT.
