CRANDON - A rod came apart and a gear change was needed, but Felch's Chad Hord still wound up with a successful truck racing weekend.
Hord, qualifying second for the Chairman's Cup at Crandon, took an early lead and never looked back in winning the feature event. He missed out on the top qualifying spot by .15 of a second.
Hord became one of only three Pro-2WD racers to repeat as the Chairman's Cup champion. He also triumphed in 2011.
