NORWAY - The monthly free community meal at Grace United Methodist Church in Norway will be served on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The menu will be baked chicken, broccoli rice, dessert and beverages.
There is no cost for dinner, but a donation basket is available for those who want to make a contribution toward the meal.
The free meals will be delivered in the Norway-Vulcan area to those unable to attend in person. Call the church office at 563-8917 before 2 p.m. today for take-out or deliveries. Please leave a message if you get the answering machine, but be sure to call before the Thursday deadline, since a message you leave after that time may not be received. Persons do not need to call ahead if you plan to come to the church to eat.
The meals program was started last year as a community outreach ministry. It is funded through donations and an Emerging Ministries Grant from the United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome.
Grace United Methodist Church is located behind the Jake Menghini Museum and is known as Crossroads, a church facility that is shared by Grace United Methodist and Bethany Lutheran churches.
