IRON MOUNTAIN - Three men are facing charges for a break-in that occurred early Wednesday morning at a garage on the west side of Iron Mountain.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on West D Street.
Acting Iron Mountain Police Chief Ed Mattson said that his department received a report of a breaking and entering in progress. A citizen had called to inform officers that three men were entering a neighbor's detached garage and taking items.
Upon arrival, officers located three adult males subjects in the garage. They were taken into custody without incident, said Mattson.
Dickinson County Prosecutor Lisa Richards reported that the subjects were arraigned in Dickinson County District Court on Wednesday.
They are 20-year-old Tyler Jonathan McClean of Iron Mountain, 20-year-old Mathew Nicholas Lanthier of Iron Mountain, and 30-year-old Joshua Alan Williams of Kingsford.
Each faces one felony count of breaking and entering a building with intent and one misdemeanor count of malicious destruction of a building-between $200 and $1,000.
If convicted, each could spend up to 10 years in prison.
They are all scheduled for preliminary examinations in Dickinson County District Court on Aug. 12.
