An Iron Mountain man sustained non life-threatening injuries in a car-motorcycle accident this morning. The crash occurred at 9:05 a.m. on the 100 block of East H Street. Acting Iron Mountain Police Chief Ed Mattson said that a west bound passenger vehicle, operated by a 37-year-old Iron Mountain man, turned in front of an east bound motorcycle, operated by a 70-year-old Iron Mountain man. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries, said Mattson. The driver of the passenger vehicle was cited for failure to yield (left turn), he added. Assisting at the scene was Beacon Ambulance and the Iron Mountain Department of Public Works.
