I am a little surprised how close this poll is considering how conservative this area tends to be.

Seems to me the soldiers who are in the battle would know more then the a**holes in Washington. Give them more troops and allow the generals to run this war or PULL OUT.

...if they would have sent a cruise missile into tora bora with a small-yield theater nuke, that war would have been over with no more US casualties, and maybe even rendered iraq unnecessary, as perhaps this devastating display of wartime leadership would have brought saddam in line as well...

Despite what Dan Rather, and Ben Barnes tried to make up, Bush did serve in the Texas Air National Guard. Cheney was another story but did apply for deferments that were granted by the Government and didn't run to another country like Clinton. Obama on the other hand was to busy doing cocaine.

And exactly what did gw and dick know about the military,,,,,,,,,,other than how to avoid service in it?

Another Obama fold. In March Afghanistan was the good War that we had to win. Now we see the true weakness of this administration. If you know nothing about the Military you should never be in charge of it.

If we were fighting al qaeda I might be for sending more troops, but we are fighting the Taliban. The Talaban are a local Afghan/Pakistani issue. After all these years of providing cover for the Afghan government their security forces/military should be able to take care of themselves and if not how is that our problem? Bring the troops home.
