NIAGARA, Wis. — Niagara, behind freshman Jasmine Racine’s 15 points and Sarah Nawn’s 13, spilled St. Thomas Aquinas Academy 52-22 in M&O Conference girls basketball Friday.

The Badgers (2-1, 1-1 M&O) owned a 28-10 halftime cushion.

“It was a good team win and everybody got playing time,” said Badgers coach Karl Lamoreaux, noting nine of 12 girls scored.

Racine had six of Niagara’s 17 steals. Niagara grabbed 59 rebounds — 11 from Ki’Eircidy Hannah and 10 from Taylor Tushoski.

“We’re learning our responsibilities and settling in as a team,” Lamoreaux said. “They hustle and they work. That makes me happy.”
