Hall Orthodontics second in Rhinelander tournament

RHINELANDER, Wis. — Dickinson Amateur Hockey Association’s Hall Orthodontics 14U bowed to Monroe 3-2 in the finals of a tournament in Rhinelander this past weekend.

Hall Orthodontics finished with a 1-1-1 record and moved its season record to 12-8-3.

Hall defeated Rhinelander 4-2 and tied Wisconsin Rapids 1-1 before losing to Monroe. A controversial call took away a Hall goal in their game with Monroe.

Coach Kirk Fortner cited the “fine play” by defensemen Evan Anderson, Kobe Gordon, David Juul, Daniel Maki and Jack Perpich along with goalie Ian Anderson.

Hall Orthodontics will be in action on Saturday, facing Lakeland, Wis., at Mountain View Ice Arena.
