Terrian, Wickman named October Hometowne athletes

IRON MOUNTAIN — Kingsford’s Luke Terrian and North Dickinson’s Juliann Wickman were named Hometowne Athletes of the Month for October.

Terrian earned the honor for his 400 rushing yards on 70 carries. He caught 15 passes for 214 yards and scored a combined 11 touchdowns from runs and catches.

Wickman, a setter for the Nordics’ volleyball team, had 160 assists, 34 aces and set school records with 33 assists in one match and 14 aces in another. She also had a 98 percent setting percentage.

Athlete of the Month winners are automatically entered for the Hometowne Athlete of the Year, which is released during the annual banquet at the beginning of June.
