PEMBINE, Wis. — Jessica Slowik dropped 25 points to help Elcho down Goodman-Pembine 56-33 on Thursday.

Katelyn Morrison scored a game-high 26 points for the Patriots (0-3), but didn’t have much scoring help. Three teammates combined for seven points.

“The G-P girls worked hard defensively in the first half to keep the score close but Elcho came out with a plan in the second half that the G-P Patriots could not keep up with,” Patriots coach Stefanie Goyak said. “Some great transition points for Katelyn Morrison and improved all around rebounding with freshman Katelyn Nelson with a game high of eight.”

Elcho scored 31 points in the first half to take a 31-23 halftime lead. Goodman-Pembine was limited to 10 points in the second half.
