The U.P. as of Friday afternoon had 121 confirmed positive cases, five probable cases and 16 deaths, according to state figures.

Keweenaw, Alger and Ontonagon counties have yet to report a COVID-19 case in the Upper Peninsula and are the only counties in Michigan not to have at least one positive coronavirus test.

The MDHHS statewide reported 284 confirmed new COVID-19 cases Friday for a total of 58,525 to date. The state had 21 new deaths for 5,616 to date.
