Southbound to perform Saturday

The duo Southbound will perform Saturday at a backyard party at Nutter’s Sports Bar and Grill in Powers. Members are Gabby Trina, left, and Gabriella Fleury.

POWERS — Nutter’s Sports Bar and Grill in Powers will host a backyard party from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

The duo SouthBound will play a variety of music from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Leo Gorzinski will warm up the crowd from 4 to 6 p.m.

The outdoor event will have bean bag boards available for play. There is some outdoor seating, but everyone is welcome to bring a chair.

In case of rain, they will move the event indoors; either way will offer plenty of room for social distancing.

They will collect donations throughout the day to help defray costs associated with the 134 dogs/puppies that were rescued from a local puppy mill. The bar also will donate 10% of the sales from that day to the Delta Animal Shelter.
