Ringel updates Golden K on improvements at YMCA

KINGSFORD — With Alice Derwinski at the piano, the Golden K members just keep on singing each Monday morning.

As usual, the group acknowledging guests and the birthdays of Jeanne Polkinghorn, Louise Swope, Karen Burgess and wedding anniversary of Vance and Doreen Uhazie.

Happy Dollars included appreciation for the Sunday choral performance at Lake Antoine, cooler weather and today’s program presentation.

Future Golden K tentative meeting programs will include visit to Niagara Historical Museum.

Paul Ward introduced Jonathan Ringel from the Northern Lights YMCA-Dickinson Center, who gave members an impressive update of the improvements, renovations and additional family, children and adult activities. He also discussed work on the Children’s Center, an interactive learning museum, and status of the scheduled opening of the new swimming pool.
