IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County Library has planned its July events.

Celebrate summer reading with a Make-N-Take Craft for kids of all ages runs through Saturday at all branches of the Dickinson County Library. Kids can stop by any time during the week to make their own delightful craft. This summer’s Make-N-Take Crafts are sponsored by the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Women’s Club.

The Dickinson County Library and branches will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.  Regular hours will resume on Wednesday.

 Tuesday, July 11

Preschool children and families are invited to the Three Little Pigs Puppet Show with Ginnie Adams at 10 a.m. at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain, and Wednesday, July 12, 10:30 a.m. at the Solomonson Branch in Norway. Guest presenter Ginnie Adams will present the story of the “Three Little Pigs” retold as a puppet show featuring several songs. Families are welcome to attend! These programs are sponsored by David and Elsa Brule as part of the Building Little Readers storytime series.

The Soundz of Time featuring Jan and Gino present We’re Havin’ A Party, at 6 p.m. at the Solomonson Branch in Norway.

Everyone is invited in the courtyard for a fun summer performance. High energy entertainment duo Jan and Gino will feature songs of Sam Cooke, Brenda Lee, Chubby Checker, Fats Domino and more in their signature show. All are welcome to attend. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Dickinson County Library.
