The Dickinson County Area Paisano Club recently awarded two area high school graduates with $500 scholarships. Recipients were Matt Swanson and Dominic Occhietti. Here, Swanson receives his check from Nick Simone, left, and Mark Pugh, right, both of the Paisano Club. Any resident of the Dickinson County area who is of Italian descent or married to someone of Italian descent is eligible for membership in the Paisano Club. Annual membership is $10. The Paisano Club wishes to extend its congratulations and best wishes to for a successful future to all area graduates, Simone said.
