Tickets for Niagara Lions Picnic drawings still on sale

NIAGARA, Wis. — Tickets for the drawings set to take place at this weekend’s Niagara Lions Picnic still are available, with 11 major prizes offered that have been donated by local businesses and individuals.

The tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Drawings for these prizes will take place just before the fireworks show at 9 p.m. Saturday at Heights Park in Niagara.

Winners do not have to be present for the major prize drawings.

Prizes available include:

— A Ricoh PL S2440 projector, donated by Orbit Technology of Iron Mountain;

— $250 in cash, donated by Tom & Jo’s Liquor Store in Aurora, Wis. (Lion Don Martin);

— $200 in cash, donated by Deane Systems LLC (Lion Kim Schuster);

— $150 in cash, donated by Niagara Lions Club;

–$100 in cash, donated by Ray Kuder and Best Shot Billiards in Iron Mountain;

— $100 in cash, donated by The Bunker in Niagara;

— A 60-degree lob wedge, donated by Lion Dan Decker;

— $50 in cash, donated by Best Buy Liquor and Party Store in Niagara;

— $50 in cash, donated by Nev’s North Star Bar in Niagara;

— $50 cash, donated by Big 10 Sports Bar in Quinnesec;

— $50 cash, donated by Wild Horse Saloon in Iron Mountain.

In addition, hundreds of other prizes donated by local businesses will be given away both Friday and Saturday up to the time of the major prize drawings. Winners of these prizes need to be present.

Tickets are on sale at all Niagara taverns, Forward Financial Credit Union, Niagara mBank, Best Buy Liquor, Great Lakes Fresh Market Foods, Tom & Jo’s Liquor in Aurora and the Big 10 Sports Bar in Quinnesec.
