FLORENCE, Wis. — The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County will sponsor a Welcome to Medicare seminar from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the second floor conference room at the Florence County Courthouse.

Janice Jonet, Florence County elder benefits specialist, will present a PowerPoint that will help to explain what to expect when turning 65 regarding health care needs and Medicare benefits.

It also will be helpful to any Medicare beneficiary who has questions or concerns regarding complicated Medicare options and benefits.
