IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fellowship room at First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain.

There will be a short business meeting, a brief educational program, and the usual informal stamp club auction.

Members are encouraged to bring up to five lots for the auction, and the club also will auction lots of recently acquired stamps.

The Northwoods Philatelic Society promotes the fun and fellowship of stamp collecting. The club has members from both Michigan and Wisconsin and is open to students as well as adults. Collectors range from very new to sophisticated.

Membership is free; the only requirement is a desire to learn about stamp collecting. The meetings are fun and informal.
