MARSP to meet May 16

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will host the local version of the annual state meeting Thursday, May 16, at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

Amber Pipp of the Downtown Development Authority will present a short program titled “What’s Fun for Summer?” and Jeff DeRidder will talk about the happenings of the Just Cruisin’ Car Club.

A social hour with coffee will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a noon luncheon. A cash bar also will be available. The noon luncheon will feature spaghetti and meatballs served with garlic bread, a salad, and dessert for $16. A chef salad for $14 also is available on request when making reservations. No alterations may be made to either selection.

The calling committee will begin contacting members on Sunday. Those who have not been contacted by noon Thursday should email Patty Rose at pmrose@charter.net or call her at 906-779-5423 to make a reservation. Members who requested online reservations will be contacted by email that same week.

The deadline for adding or canceling reservations is noon Friday.
