Perry and Debbie Tompkins of Iron Mountain are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Cody Tompkins, to Brandie Smith, daughter of Dave and Jenn Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jim and Amanda Thoune of Quinnesec. Cody is a 2014 graduate of Kingsford High School and attended Bay College. He is employed as a salesman at Iron Mountain Powersports. Brandie is a 2015 graduate of North Dickinson County School and a recent graduate of Northern Michigan University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. An Aug. 24, 2019, wedding is planned.
