Braumart Theatre lists remaining August movies
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Braumart Theatre in Iron Mountain has announced its upcoming classic movie showing schedule.
August — “Wild Wild West”
Aug. 30 — “The Man from Snowy River,” 7 p.m.; 1983 film; rated PG , 94 minutes.
Shot in Australia’s breathtaking high country, this film chronicles a boy’s difficult passage into manhood. Burlinson stars as an orphan who returns to the mountains to conquer the elusive wild horses.
Aug 31 — “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” 3 and 7 p.m.; 1969 film, rated PG, 112 minutes.
The true story of fast-draws and wild rides, battles with posses, train and bank robberies, a torrid love affair and a new lease on outlaw life in far away Bolivia. It is also a character study of a remarkable friendship between Butch — possibly the most likeable outlaw in frontier history — and his closest associate, the fabled, ever-dangerous Sundance Kid.
Concessions are available at all movies.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for ages 15 and younger.
The Braumart also offers a $20 family pass that gets two adults and up to eight youth-age children into the movie.
