Free workshop at LifeFit BrainFit on Wednesday

IRON MOUNTAIN — LifeFit BrainFit is offering a free workshop on the benefits of the interactive metronome and whole-food nutrition that will start at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the conference room at 818 Pyle Drive in Kingsford.

The schedule is:

— 9:15 to 10 a.m., anxiety and depression. Those attending can learn about natural, drug-free ways anxiety and depression can be helped. This workshop is for those who have fearfulness, weepiness, trouble with focusing and planning or feeling overwhelmed.

— 10 to 10:45 a.m., “Athletes Dominate the Game.” A look at some of the ways Olympic and professional athletes stay at the top of their game in all sports.

LifeFit BrainFit can help improve timing, focus, concentration, quickness, mental processing speed and proficiency. Athletes, coaches and parents are welcome to attend.

— 10:45 to 11 a.m., “Get Ready for Back to School.” This workshop will look at natural ways to improve ADHD, autism, focus, concentration, reading, math, improved attention and ability to control emotions.

“Rhythm and timing can improve focus, concentration and teach the brain to work more efficiently,” said Debra Flannery, owner of LifeFit BrainFit. “The interactive metronome helps improve mood, speed, quickness and precision.”
