Screening of Glen Campbell movie planned in Florence

FLORENCE, Wis. — To create awareness about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County will host a free screening of the documentary “Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.Tuesday at the Florence High School Auditorium.

The documentary is about Campbell’s life, his farewell tour and how he and his family coped with his Alzheimer’s disease.

It documents the journey as they attempt to navigate the unpredictable nature of his progressing disease, using love, laughter, and music as their medicine of choice.

For more information about the movie screening or about dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, contact the ADRC of Florence County by calling 715-528-4890, stopping by the office in the lower level of Florence County Courthouse, 501 Lake Ave., or go to the web site at www.florencecountywi.com.
