Nicole and Jacob Gaudette

IRON MOUNTAIN — Nicole Marie Pietsch and Jacob John Gaudette both of Iron Mountain, were united in marriage on June 22, 2019. The wedding mass was officiated by Father Joe Gouin at American Martyrs Church and the wedding sacrament was administered by friend of the bride and groom, Deacon Thomas Merkel.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother Tim and Carol Pietsch of Iron Mountain. Maids of honor were Mandy and Keri Pietsch, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Angela Soriano, sister-in-law; Lynea Hautamaki, fiancée of Nikki’s brother, Brandon; and Amanda Sterzick, good friend from college at NMU.

Best men were Phillip and Matthew Gaudette, brothers of the groom, Brandon Pietsch, brother-in-law; Brian Graves, good friend from Kingsford high school; and Tom Merkel, good friend from college at NMU.

Flower girls were Adelina and Micaela Soriano and Neva Gaudette, all nieces of the groom. Assisting with the ceremony were various family members and friends.

A reception was held at Keyes Peak Lodge in Florence, Wis. with dinner and dancing.

The couple honey-mooned in the Bahamas and are now residing in Ironwood, where Nikki works as a physician assistant at Aspirus Grandview hospital and Jake works as the financial operations officer at Gogebic Range bank.
