Niagara Homecoming activities to start Monday

NIAGARA, Wis. — Niagara High School will celebrate homecoming week starting Monday.

A home volleyball match is slated for the Lady Badgers against Suring High School on Tuesday, with the JV commencing at 5:30 p.m.

Dress-up day themes for the week are: Monday, Cro-Magnon for freshmen, Great Depression for sophomores, the ’70s for juniors and ’80s for seniors; Tuesday, Wild West; Wednesday, Marvel or Disney day; Thursday, favorite holiday; Friday, school colors or black and orange.

The election of the king and queen will be Wednesday. The bonfire, cookout and pep rally will be at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Niagara Heights Park.

Friday, Sept. 27, will have “Niagara’s Got Talent” at 1 p.m. in the theatre, then a school-wide pep rally from 1:45 to 2:05 p.m.

Game time for the Predators is set for 7 p.m. Friday against Crivitz High School.

The homecoming king and queen will be announced during halftime of the game.

Grand March for the homecoming dance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. Doors will open for the general public at 7:15 p.m. and price for admission is $1.
