Aspirus Iron River sets annual Health Fair for Thursday in IR

IRON RIVER — Aspirus Iron River Hospital and Clinics again is combining with the Dickinson-Iron District Health Department to hold the annual Health Fair and Flu Shot Clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Windsor Center in Iron River.

The health fair will feature live music, a farmers market, fitness classes, a blood drive, multiple free health screenings and educational booths, door prizes and more.

“We always look forward to this fun, free event for the community,” said Abby Miller, regional Communications and engagement lead at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. “People will get the chance to win prizes, such as fitness trackers, but they can also kick off the season by getting their flu shots, too.”

No appointment is necessary for the flu shots, which can be done through self-pay or insurance.
